Season 1 of Good Witch premiered on February 28, 2015, on Hallmark and concluded on April 18, 2015. It is the continuation of the Hallmark original movie series, The Good Witch.
Synopsis[]
Catherine Bell reprises her role of Cassie Nightingale in this series based on "The Good Witch" franchise of made-for-TV movies. Nightingale, the titular sorceress, embarks on a magical journey with her teenage daughter Grace, who shares her mother's intuitive charm. When divorced Dr. Sam Radford and his teenage son move next door, they are quickly drawn to the Nightingales' unique prowess. Sam realizes that Cassie's signature charm is more than just a magic touch, ensuring the quaint town of Middleton is in for big surprises.

Notes and Trivia[]
- The EP's of the series modified character ages and years from the events "The Good Witch's Wonder" the Season 1, to allow for Cassie's teenage daughter, Grace, to effectively be part of the series.
- Because Chris Potter wasn't available to reprise his role as Cassie's husband, "Jake Russell", the writers decided to kill off Jake instead of recasting him. This sparked the creation of James Denton's character, "Dr. Sam Radford".
- On October 6, 2014, Bailee Madison was announced to be portraying Cassie's youngest daughter, Grace Russell.[1]
- On October 20, 2014, it was announced that James Denton would be portraying Dr. Sam Radford.[2]
- In January and February of 2015, new characters Nick Radford, Anthony, Ryan Elliott, and Stephanie Borden were announced.
- Production for the season began on October 29th, 2015, four days after the premiere of "The Good Witch's Wonder".
- For a brief window of time, Hallmark Channel opened an official online store for the series. However, the store was later closed.
