The Middleton Police Department is the only law enforcement group in the quaint town of Middleton. The police department has strong ties to the community and often patrols the town and solves cases rather quickly.
The current chief of police is Derek Sanders.

Between "The Good Witch's Wonder" and "Starting Over...Again" Jake Russell was shot and killed in the line of duty. His death resulted in a city-wide tragedy, a dedication ceremony, and the promotion of Derek Sanders from Lieutenant to Chief.
Brandon Russell, Jake's oldest child, and only son returns to Middleton after leaving his band. He decides to join the Middleton police force and works his way through boot camp. Which he becomes an official officer, he informs his family who originally, aren't supportive of his decision. After a week or so, Brandon settled into M.P.D. and his family embraced the idea of there being another cop in their family.
A massive snowstorm results in a city-wide blackout and frenzy. The police department is put in charge of controlling it, and numerous squad cars and rolled out. While many of the officers went through a great deal of stress or physical pain, no one was seriously injured.Employees[]
